GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 604563
Open link feature opens wrong URLs (extra less than sign at the end)
Last modified: 2016-02-21 15:15:40 UTC
this report has been filed here: https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+bug/479940 "Links contained in a XML file with the format: <source_url>http://www.website/2746530</source_url> Are opened with gnome-terminal using the "open link" feature with an extra less than sign ("<") added at the end. It shouldn't be there. " screenshot: http://launchpadlibrarian.net/35915347/Screenshot-shankao%40clotilde%3A%20%7E.png Thanks,
I tried it with GNOME-Terminal 3.6.1 (Ubuntu 13.04) and the problem still exists. The less-then sign is in the URL. The terminal tries to open http://www.website.com/2746530%3C
Fixed by the regex rewrite from bug 756038.
