Thanks Arky! This seems like a great start -- we just need to find the right spot for it now.

Shaun - do you have any suggestions?

Hi Arky, are there any updates for this for the new Gnome?

Hi Shaun, we didnt hear back from you on this one :)

Thanks

Well, we'll need an entire Mallard document to plug this into. I hope we can make headway on this at the documentation workshop in the GUADEC pre-conference.

Hi Shaun,

sorry I didnt see [1] before I commented above.

As a sidenote, since we are trying to get people to help out with documentation, requiring them to learn/use xml might be a bit too much.
People might be more likely to help out with documentation if it was in a format that they easely recognize.
I am thinking of txt2tags [2], which is a wiki like markup.
Might we get more contributers if we had a target for txt2tags to Mallard, rather than requiring the occasional documenter to learn Mallard from scratch?

Thanks.

Most people find Mallard fairly easy to learn. It was designed to be easier for new contributors than other formats we've used.

But to be clear, the documentation team will gladly accept contributions in plain text. If you can dig up the information and write, we'll handle the markup. We're really not that strict.

@Jon I'll try to review it for the new gnome 3.0 changes

shaun I can't make it to GUADEC, let me know how I can help. I was planning to port entire Gnome Accessibility Guide into mallard.

Transferring as this is not an Orca (or Orca documentation) bug.
