GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 604177
position sidebar on primary screen
Last modified: 2009-12-21 17:12:59 UTC
Created attachment 149430 [details] [review] position sidebar centered on the loft of the primary monitor. hi, this patch positions the sidebar on the center left of the primary screen. this has some advantages: *) sidebar appears on the primary screen, not some monitor on the left or the top of it. *) if the sidebar is in the top left corner, as it is now, it hides the wm and file menue of an maximized window. i'm using this with my other patch (bug #604118) and i thing it is a big usabilty improvement.
Review of attachment 149430 [details] [review]: Looks fine. We may need to ensure the sidebar gets repositioned once we start fixing multimontior support, but that can come later.
Pushed, thank you!
