Remove the checks and code to build introspection support for
Clutter 0.8; introspection is built into 0.9/1.0/1.2 and 0.8 hasn't
been supported by the Clutter project for quite a while.

Ideally I'd like to support this for a bit longer. But I am not aware of any projects
that are still using Clutter 0.8. Guess it's time to move on.

Thanks for the review; it seems simplest to me to just remove it.

(I submitted the patch because I was getting build failures, but looking
closer it looks like I have a partial Clutter-0.8 installation in my
JHBuild prefix - I removed the libraries but not the .pc files, so
I can't really blame that on anybody but myself.)
