Description Julien Isorce 2009-12-07 22:58:23 UTC
Make the autotools build work on N900.
I have not tried to build gst-plugins-gl directly on the N900. If it does not work yet, I think we are not so far.
Could someone try it and attached output if there are errors ?
Comment 1 Julien Isorce 2009-12-07 23:02:56 UTC
Especially, gleffects is now compatible to OpenGL ES 2.0 (but not all effects yet (see effect property of gleffects))

Also see #593786

Also, it would be could great to have a gst-plugins-gl package that people could install it using aptitude.
Comment 3 Stefan Sauer (gstreamer, gtkdoc dev) 2010-01-23 16:41:44 UTC
The last time I build it, I had to skip the test directory too.
Comment 4 Mark Nauwelaerts 2010-06-15 10:10:17 UTC
Building gst-plugins-gl in Fremantle scratchbox worked fine for me (including the test directory).

Oh cool.

Are you able to deploy it on the N900 too ?

I have to try again the maemo sdk because I never succeeded to make it work.

By the way, does the following pipeline work:

gst-launch-0.10 videotestsrc ! glupload ! gleffects effect=2 ! glimagesink

?

So based on comment #4, I think this is OBSOLETE. If it's not, please reopen.
