Description oha 2009-12-07 16:25:40 UTC
I filed this bug here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gedit/+bug/493343
They asked me to bother you guys with it.

Binary package hint: gedit

Description: Ubuntu 9.10
Release: 9.10
64bit

gedit:
  Installed: 2.28.0-0ubuntu2
  Candidate: 2.28.0-0ubuntu2
  Version table:
 *** 2.28.0-0ubuntu2 0
        500 http://ch.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

If I have two files open in gedit and then drag one tab out of the gedit window, a new gedit window with the appropriate file opens (as desired). But the line numbers are not displayed anymore. I have to open Edit->Preferences, uncheck and recheck the option "Display Line Numbers". I know it's just a detail, but I thought you would like to know.
