Description John Mellor 2009-12-03 23:32:02 UTC
Mouseover on the network applet on the taskbar drops packet counts to zero for
one interval.

Pushing https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=324991 upstream to gnome.org as recommended by the Fedora package maintainer (Ray Strode), as an upstream fix is required.

Bug has existed since at least release 2.18 (used in Fedora 7), and is still present in 2.28.0 (used in Fedora 12).

How reproducible:
Every time.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make heavy network traffic (say, >1MBps)
2. Mouseover network monitor applet on taskbar

Actual results:
Network traffic drops to zero when moused over.

Expected results:
Mouseover should have no effect on traffic.
