Hello,

i could not find this Problem in any ticket so far, i tried to restore a backup from a Evolution 2.22.3.1 (Lenny) in 2.8.1 (Ubuntu 9.10) after the first start he is migrating the old mails into the new sqlite strukture and hangs somewhere at 55%.

The error message is:  
GLib-ERROR **: /build/buildd/glib2.0-2.22.2/glib/gmem.c:136: failed to allocate 31942089744 bytes

I can Modified the number of mails from the original 500MB to 10MB, it just change the time when it crashed, then not at 50% maybe 80% its no special mail that cause it, i delete first half of my mail it crashed, i delete second half of my mails it crashed.
