Description Mikel Ward 2009-11-30 23:45:41 UTC
After changing my Gnome keyboard layout to Dvorak, if I lock the screen using Win+L (which runs gnome-screensaver-command -l via xbindkeys), it never unlocks the first time I type my password but always works the second time.
Comment 1 Mikel Ward 2009-11-30 23:55:57 UTC
This was due to sticky keys being enabled. I pressed Shift to wake up the screensaver which caused the firsh character to have the wrong case.

Maybe this should be an enhancement request to show the state of sticky keys on the unlock dialog.

gnome-screensaver is obsolete, and this particular bug has been fixed in
gnome-shell itself, with the universal access status menu being accessible when at the lock screen's login entry.
