Test LaTeX file for cube roots.

Please describe the problem:
After compiling the attached code with LaTeX and viewing it with evince, the cube root does not show up properly.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Compile attached code with `latex`
2. View resulting .dvi file with evince

Actual results:
There is no 3 above the radical.

Expected results:
There should be a 3 above the radical to differentiate between a cube and a square root.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

Other information:
We experience this bug with version 2.26.2 as well as 2.24.2 under Fedora 11 and Fedora 10 respectively.
