Description Jon Niehof 2009-11-26 03:01:08 UTC
In keyboard layout options, "Make CapsLock an additional Ctrl" only shows under "Ctrl key position", but not "CapsLock key behavior." Since it certainly changes the behavior of CapsLock, this can be confusing for the user, particularly since similar options ("Make CapsLock an additional backspace") are under "CapsLock key behavior" and it does not change the location of the (standard) ctrl key.

Related to bug #311672, "Clean up of Layout Options."

Available options and grouping are provided by xkeyboard-config and generated automatically. You can file bugs against that package over at http://bugs.freedesktop.org . Thanks.
