Description Yann 2009-11-23 18:04:24 UTC
I suggest to add "Remove this launcher", "Remove this application" when right-click on any launcher located in the Menu.

Of course, we should ask confirmation if "Remove this application" is chosen, in order to prevent mistakes.

For consistency between all launchers, we could add "Remove this application" also for launchers located in panels or on the Desktop/any folder.

It would be also very convenient if a drag-and-drop of a launcher from the Menu to the WasteBasket makes appear a dialog window asking:
- Remove this launcher
- Remove this application
- Cancel

I agree with this enhancement proposal.

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all
old feature requests in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you still use gnome-panel and if you are still requesting this feature in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-panel/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be implemented.
