Description Pavol Klačanský 2009-11-21 08:43:41 UTC
1. show visualisation in rhythmbox
2. play track
3. wait to next track
4. visualisation stops

It works if you select next track manually
Comment 1 Jonathan Matthew 2009-11-28 02:18:03 UTC
Seems to be a playbin2 problem. I can reproduce this some of the time with current-ish git versions of gstreamer and gst-plugins-base.
Comment 2 Aaron Calderon 2011-04-12 22:27:26 UTC
I have experienced the same problem. I'm running Rhythmbox 0.12.8 on debian testing (wheezy).

I would suggest changing the status to confirmed.

Thanks.
Comment 3 Sebastian Dröge (slomo) 2011-05-23 14:15:38 UTC
Is this with crossfading and gapless disabled in rhythmbox? Does it also happen with other players, like totem?
Comment 4 Pavol Klačanský 2011-05-23 17:32:12 UTC
in Ubuntu, there is banshee now, but totem works well
Comment 5 Jonathan Matthew 2011-05-23 21:11:01 UTC
I could only reproduce this with crossfading disabled, so using playbin2 and changing tracks in the about-to-finish signal handler.
Comment 6 Sebastian Dröge (slomo) 2011-05-24 07:51:18 UTC
Could you get a debug log with GST_DEBUG=5 ? If it's too large the few thousand lines around the track switch are enough ;)
Comment 7 Akhil Laddha 2011-07-07 05:20:37 UTC
Pavol , Aaron, could you please provide debug trace as requested in comment#6 ?
Comment 8 Jonathan Matthew 2011-08-08 10:47:07 UTC
I can't reproduce this any more.
Comment 9 Stefan Sauer (gstreamer, gtkdoc dev) 2011-08-09 12:50:14 UTC
Pavol, please reopen if it still happens.
Comment 10 Pavol Klačanský 2011-08-09 14:21:46 UTC
I cannot reproduce it also, because there is no visualization in ubuntu oneiric
