Description Sense Hofstede 2009-11-15 17:57:52 UTC
Nautilus 2.28 wrongly detects at least two Sony devices as containing music, even though both are not media players. Instead it's the Sony DSC-W180 digital photo camera and a Sony MicroVault 2GB USB stick.
The device id of the camera is 054c:0295, the id of the USB stick is 054c:0243.

They don't contain anything Rhythmbox can handle, but Nautilus does display the bar above the view with a button for opening the device with the program.

This bug was originally reported against Ubuntu in Launchpad, and can be found here: https://launchpad.net/bugs/459380

-> gvfs

This seems to be a gvfs bug.
Comment 2 Sense Hofstede 2010-04-27 16:07:13 UTC
I'm closing this bug as NOTGNOME since the bug I mentioned in the description of this bug has been marked as a duplicate of another bug: <https://launchpad.net/bugs/477976>. It turns out this is a bug in media-player-info and is already fixed there.
