I think that the subject field of an outgoing message should be spell-checked using the same rules as the body of the email.

i.e. if I spell something incorrectly in the subject it should be underlined and if I choose "Check Spelling" the subject field should also be checked.

Seems to make sense to me. Poor spelling in subject gives a pretty bad first impression.
