Description Pedro Villavicencio 2009-11-12 15:19:50 UTC
this report has been filed here:

https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/454543

"1) I changed the icon symbol by right-click -> settings -> in first tab click on icon symbol -> selected "pixmaps" -> chose a new icon symbol for my selected folder. So far, so fine...
2) Then changed folder name -> selected folder -> right-click -> rename -> changed folder name

Then my icon symbol got lost, standardized icon symbol was shown instead.

Nautilus should keep his icons, even after file renaming."

same happens for files
