refactorize 2

Refactorize gtk_text_buffer_get_selection_bound to gtk_text_view_get_selection_bound.

These 2 patches could be applied now, so it is easier to review next patches.
Comment 2 Ignacio Casal Quinteiro (nacho) 2009-11-12 14:04:22 UTC
I've created a page in lgo to add ideas about the best way to manage this:
http://live.gnome.org/GTK%2B/GtkTextView/Splitview
Comment 3 Sébastien Wilmet 2013-04-06 15:02:59 UTC
See also bug #57050, with a different solution to the same problem (split view).
Comment 4 Matthias Clasen 2018-02-10 04:53:44 UTC
We're moving to gitlab! As part of this move, we are moving bugs to NEEDINFO if they haven't seen activity in more than a year. If this issue is still important to you and still relevant with GTK+ 3.22 or master, please reopen it and we will migrate it to gitlab.
Comment 5 Matthias Clasen 2018-04-14 23:54:09 UTC
As announced a while ago, we are migrating to gitlab, and bugs that haven't seen activity in the last year or so will be not be migrated, but closed out in bugzilla.

If this bug is still relevant to you, you can open a new issue describing the symptoms and how to reproduce it with gtk 3.22.x or master in gitlab:
