It is impossible to specify a custom SIP registrar port (different from 5060) in the account setup. I have tried the username@registrar:port string but Empathy gives me an error message and fails to connect to the registrar.

Hi John, thanks for your bug report.

The current SIP account widget is known to miss a lot of important options (bug #601697). You could help by helping us to decide which params should be displayed and provide a small explanation for each of them.
