Description Sergio Barjola 2009-11-12 09:19:52 UTC
This bug has been reported here:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/432004

"... when you select a file and then press CTRL + cursor keys to navigate to another file/folder to select it, you would expect a selection box or marker to follow the movement using cursor keys but no such cue appears. The selection works when SPACEBAR is pressed, but you have to guess which file/folder will be selected upon pressing the SPACEBAR key.

this problem only occurs while nautilus is in ICON and COMPACT view mode. "

Does this bug still happen in a recent version?

I tried Icon View with nautilus 3.6 and the default GNOME theme (Adwaita) and I can see the keyboard focus marked with a broken line, like this:

 - - - -
' '
' File '
' '
'- - - -'
