I am wondering, "What kind of file?"

Kubuntu 9.10 64-bit with Sound Juicer 2.28.0

"http: files".  SJ is part of the GNOME desktop, as you are using kubuntu and thus KDE I presume you don't have the packages which set this up.

Closing as invalid, SJ is only supported in GNOME.  At best, this is a distribution bug because Kubuntu didn't install all of the packages it requires.
