Robert, each plugin should have an example at the top of its source code (e.g. sys/vdpau/gstvdpmpegdec.c) and that will end up in the plugin docs. Have you had a look with devhelp for vdpau plugin docs?

No, I have not looked at devhelp for vdpau plugin docs.  I will do that.  I am particularly interested in H264 (AVC) VDPAU support.  I love GStreamer by the way...
