One Orca user confirm this problem with Orca mailing list. I tested my debian testing system with Openoffice.org 3.1 and Orca 2.28.1 and latest development Orca version. I try reproduce this problem with my Ubuntu 9.04 system and Ubuntu original Openoffice.org writer, the problem is sure reproducable my systems. Thanks, Attila
This is (or rather was) an OOo bug: http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=95042 We were tracking that bug via bug 556476. Due to the nature of the bug, we needed the OOo guys to fix it on their end. They've done so. I just downloaded the current Dev build of OOo (OOo-dev 3.2.0 OOO320m4 (Build:9450)) and verified that the bug is indeed fixed and that Orca is speaking the correct and full information. As a related aside, we have meta bugs in Orca. The meta bug for OOo is bug 404411. If you view the page for that bug, follow the link for tree, and then press the Show Resolved button, the resulting list will include both open and closed bugs related to Orca's access to OOo apps. You can then browse that list or use Firefox's find toolbar to look for keywords, like Size. Not only should that tell you if your issue is a bug we already know about, but it will likely give you information about what the current status is, and in the case of fixed bugs, where/how to get the fix. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 556476 ***
