mobile broadband provider australia update

I'm attempting to fix a bug under launchpad,
https://bugs.launchpad.net/mobile-broadband-provider-info/+bug/280490 as per
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1014221

APN is incorrect, have updated as per forum and have attached patch below,

  I tried http://live.gnome.org/NetworkManager/MobileBroadband/ServiceProviders
however have now realised it's deprecated,

This has been a problem for many people and I hoped it would have been fixed
by now, hopefully this bug report will help :)

Regards,
Neil Caldwell

VirginInternet would still be used for tethering a phone, but I've added VirginBroadband. Thanks!

Thanks for your insight Dan, I wonder when this change would be moved into Ubuntu? Is that something I can request in the Ubuntu bug system? Should I ask for a certain revision of NetworkManager?

Cheers,
Neil

This is upstream, not Ubuntu, and it's their responsibility to pick the changes they want into their distribution. You might want to file a bug report in Launchpad for Ubuntu to update to the latest mobile-broadband-provider-info.
