"1- Run Brasero
2- Project -> New Project -> New Video Project
2- Disable the Side Panel (F7)
3- Click on the + button - Add files to the project
4- A Filechooser window is presented to you, click Cancel.

Expected Results

Brasero window is focused, the Add files to the project button is still available.

Actual Results

Brasero window is focused but the Add files to the project button is grayed out."

Thanks for the report. This has recently been fixed and backported for brasero-2.28.3.:
