GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 600441
sudoku doesn't generate new puzzles automatically
Last modified: 2011-07-26 04:26:16 UTC
Binary package hint: gnome-games I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 and the gnome-games variant of sudoko. I have checked the button for generating new puzzles during playing, but the number of games hasn't changed since i last generated puzzles by hand. Only the number of very difficult puzzles declined. As this is the only sort of puzzles i try. The version of gnome-games is 1:2.26.1-0ubuntu2. ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04 Package: gnome-games 1:2.26.1-0ubuntu2 ProcEnviron: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gnome-games Uname: Linux 2.6.28-15-generic x86_64 [...] The problem with not generating new Puzzles is, that i prefer to play very difficult puzzles only. So the number of other available puzzles easily exceeds the number of 90 without any very difficult puzzle being available. So it would be better for me that puzzles generating is put off not with a general but an individual treshold for each category. A further enhancenment would be the ability to choose the category of the automatically generated puzzles. I enjoy playing sudoku and appreciate your work very much. Thank you for your efforts. (And please apologize my poor english.) Originally posted on: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-games/+bug/445449
Please close this bug since current versions of gnome-sudoku do generate sudoku puzzles automatically.
