Description michal.bliznak 2009-11-01 08:34:34 UTC
Gnome commander (at least 1.2.8.2) crashes if stored bookmark in Bookmarks dialog is double-clicked by a left mouse button. Pressing of Enter key on the same bookmark works fine (current directory in selected panel is changed to location stored in the bookmark). This bug is present in the gnome commander for a long time. Observed in Ubuntu 8.x - 9.x.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
Without a stack trace from the crash it's very hard to determine what caused it.
Can you get us a stack trace? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so. Thanks in advance!

Could you, please, verify if the bug is still present in 1.2.8.3 release (available from http://www.getdeb.net/updates/GNOME Commander) ?
Comment 5 michal.bliznak 2009-11-09 09:52:18 UTC
The url you've specified contains 1.2.8.2 release only... (at least a link under an application's screenshot)
Comment 6 epiotr 2009-11-09 10:45:19 UTC
What about http://www.getdeb.net/install/gnome-commander ?
Comment 7 michal.bliznak 2009-11-09 11:28:45 UTC
The same. It pops out message like "Package 'gnome-commander' is already installed". After removing of present gnome-commander it installs 1.2.8.2 version.

However, I built it from sources and the crash is still there.

This problem has been fixed in our software repository. The fix will go into
the next, 1.2.9 release. Thank you for your bug report.
