Description Giulio Malventi 2009-11-01 07:10:48 UTC
A must have against one year old babies playing around your computer and pressing the power button every ten seconds.

This is the same feature request as:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-power-manager/+bug/156645

One suggested workaround is to edit the value manually with gconf-editor: set /apps/gnome-power-manager/buttons/power to "nothing"
Comment 2 Richard Hughes 2012-03-23 15:58:13 UTC
The UI designers don't like this idea.
Comment 3 Giulio Malventi 2012-03-23 16:06:30 UTC
May I know why? I can assure you it would have saved me several troubles.
