GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 600260
Cannot set alt + alt-r as window switcher
Last modified: 2020-11-06 20:06:24 UTC
This report was originally filled at: https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/metacity/+bug/236767 I was able to set alt + alt-r (right alt, or graphic alt) as the window switcher, that is, instead of alt-tab. That was very ergonomic. When I upgraded, this key combination would only take me to the next window, but nothing else. And it is impossible to set the combination again. Steps to reproduce: 1. System -> Preferences -> Keyboard shortcuts 2. Window Management -> Move between windows with pop up 3. Click on the accelerator, to re-set it. 4. Press alt and alt-r or alt-gr. Nothing happens. No accelerator is set. alt+alt-r should be set. It was set and worked properly in the previous version of Ubuntu and I loved it. Thanks.
