gnome-panel crashes when something happens to an icon in tray (not on startup - for example new mail for evolution - possibly related to notification).

My error - I forgot it also happens when the mail icon disappears.

Reproducable: Always

It looks like this is the same bug reported in Debian bug #549959 [1].

Seems to happen when an icon *leaves* the systray, and it's rather annoying and has been a problem for well over a month now. Any progress on this?

cc'ing Owen, who might have a better chance to find out what's wrong.
Comment 8 Maciej (Matthew) Piechotka 2012-09-13 06:53:27 UTC
Marking as obsolete as I'm using gnome-shell. If anyone have problems with
gnome fallback - please reopen it.
