Description José Alburquerque 2009-10-27 16:54:54 UTC
Some time ago, after a regular login and then a logout, gdm would allow an automatic login to take place. This was convenient when a regular user wanted to allow a guest to use the computer but not his account. All that was necessary was to logout and let gdm run its automatic login (if it was configured that way).

Right now, an automatic guest session is permitted, but only when gdm first runs. It is no longer available after a regular user logs in and then out.
