Description Sam Morris 2009-10-25 13:26:17 UTC
Attempting to play the station at http://rainwave.cc/tunein-rw.php results in an "A text/uri-list decoder plugin is required to play this stream, but not installed." error.

Seems to be happening because totem-pl-parser ignores the playlist URI because it doesn't look much like a playlist. Parsing succeeds if we set the 'force' property on the parser. I'm not sure if that's a sensible thing to do, though.

Test with the tip of gnome-2-28 or master branches, it should fix it.
Comment 4 Sam Morris 2010-05-05 13:51:42 UTC
Still seeing this with rhythmbox 0.12.8 and totem-pl-parser 2.30.0.
Comment 5 Bastien Nocera 2010-05-05 14:03:30 UTC
You didn't read my comments properly it seems.

It's not very clear that 'master' was not the 2.30 branch when that message was written.

master was the gnome-2-30 branch when written, and the patch is scheduled for the next 2.28, 2.30 and 2.31 releases.

I see, thanks for the explanation. :)
Comment 9 Tobias Mueller 2010-09-30 20:49:10 UTC
So I'm closing as OBSOLETE as per comment #3. Please reopen if this is still an issue.
