Description Oliver Gerlich 2009-10-24 11:44:43 UTC
It would be nice if the Keyboard Shortcuts dialog would allow to specify several different shortcuts for the same action.

For example, I'd like to set Win+* for Volume Up but I still want the XF86AudioRaiseVolume key to work as well (because my remote control sends this key code). In this specific case the solution could also be to always keep XF86AudioRaiseVolume assigned to Volume Up (even if the user manually sets a different shortcut). But I suppose it would be a more generic solution if multiple shortcuts were allowed.

UI wise, this could be done by adding a context menu for every action, which would allow to open a dialog where the different shortcuts could be entered in detail.
