Description cheaterjs 2009-10-23 18:45:30 UTC
Not everone wants to use stun.ekiga.net.

-> In some network configurations access to external services instead is prohibited.

-> Most users want to use their own providers stun server.

-> Last but not least this is a feature, that most oter softphones have.

It is way too difficult for most users to change the STUN-server with gconf2-editor on Linux oder edit ekiga.conf on other operating systems.

Please make this easy for people.

Greetings,
jsthemaster!

Hmmmm... I'm wondering if it isn't already possible -- even if hidden :-/

Ekiga is not under active development anymore:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/-/issues/273

Ekiga saw its last release 7 years ago. The last code commits were 4 years ago.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (and transfer the project to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is deprecated) if anyone takes the responsibility for active Ekiga development again in the future.
