Description Sergey "Shnatsel" Davidoff 2009-10-23 18:19:16 UTC
I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 RC, and in tab titles and Open/Save dialog I see raw device names from /media/mount instead of drive labels.

Copied the second screenshot into Bugzilla, to avoid references to outside pages.

The first URL gives me a "not found" - could you please attach the image here?

There's two bugs here:

1. The ugly name in the pathbar. If the volume in question doesn't have a volume label, we should use "XXX GB Filesystem" like in the places bar.

2. The pathbar doesn't make the root of the volume a "fake root" in its internal parlance. Nautilus does that all right; this is probably just a small bug in GtkPathBar.

We're moving to gitlab! As part of this move, we are closing bugs that haven't seen activity in more than 5 years. If this issue is still imporant to you and
still relevant with GTK+ 3.22 or master, please consider creating a gitlab issue
for it.
