empathy don't show the number of people in the irc channel
Last modified: 2012-08-26 03:56:59 UTC
This report was originally filled at (wishlist): https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/empathy/+bug/448473 Binary package hint: empathy pidgin does that but in empathy. it don't show the number of people logged into an irc channel but it should and seems that its really simple to implement?
Agreed. I'd like to have an UI similar as xchat-gnome's one showing that.
I am the downstream reporter of this bug, this feature is necessary in IRC to know how many people are in the channel
Hi, This feature request is beyond the scope of Empathy's core set of features, and the developers don't necessarily have time to implement features like these. Feel free to provide a patch for it, however. My personal opinion/my 2¢: I don't care about the amount of users in a channel. I care about *who* is in that channel.
