Ok this isn't really a problem but when you click windows->toolbox shouldn't it make the toolbox go in the middle of the screen because once i lost the toolbox and when i did windows->toolbox it did nothing and i had to restart gimp which takes awhile to do.

You didn't tell us anything about the version of GIMP you're using.
