Description Michal Čihař 2009-10-20 06:53:43 UTC
Latest X.org drivers do not enable tapping by default. There should be way to enable them in gpointing-device-settings.

I confirm this bug too.

I am very confused about this project (probably I don´t understand it). My Linux. distri. ArchLinux using rolling updates, so I have GNOME 2.28.0 and gsynaptics where is checkbox with "enabling tapping", but I have bug with checking this field- after shutdown or restarting PC I must again checked this field- so I use google and found GPointingDeviceSettings, I was build it from repository (http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=25663) and found that there is no option "enable tapping" :-)
