GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 598866
gtranslator crashed with SIGSEV
Last modified: 2010-01-28 19:04:18 UTC
Opening this bug to link it against the Launchpad one. Basically, gtranslator crashes when opening a file, editing it, and saving. This happens only with some kind of file and is not easy to understand what is wrong with the file since it's a valid PO file. Launchpad bug is 454940 and also related 432062.
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Without a stack trace from the crash it's very hard to determine what caused it. Can you get us a stack trace? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I don't know if they are useful, but in the Launchpad bugs I mentioned in the first message, you can find the stack trace. These are the links: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtranslator/+bug/432062 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtranslator/+bug/454940 The latter has a more recent and probably useful stack trace. If it's not possible for you to see those links, I can always upload the stack trace here. Let me know.
