Description Luca Bruno 2009-10-18 14:11:59 UTC
Hello,
dependencies/ggz-gtk/xtext.c is using X11 symbols. When linking no -lX11 is added so the build fails. Please pkg_check it...

Comment 2 Christian Persch 2009-10-18 19:39:18 UTC
ggz was removed on master, so this only concerns 2-28.

If we want to still fix it there, checking for gtk+-x11-2.0 instead of x11 itself would be better, IMHO.
Comment 3 Luca Bruno 2009-10-19 11:30:30 UTC
pkg-config gtk+-x11-2.0 --libs still doesn't show -lX11, because you're using X11 symbols, not gtk-x11 symbols. So requiring x11 is the right way. But as you said it's been dropped for the next cycle, I won't bother you more.
Comment 4 Christian Persch 2009-10-19 12:12:39 UTC
Oh, I see. xtext uses X directly, not gdk-x11. Anyway, I wouldn't object to fixing this on 2-28 with the original patch, then.

Closing as GNOME Games no longer uses GGZ. Thanks for taking the time to report this bug!

This bug is being reassigned to the "general" component so we can close the ggz bugzilla component. Apologies for the mass email!
