Works fine here. Are you sure the binary isn't getting linked against a system library instead of the one in the source tree?

Could you please check whether you see the same thing in master?

2.28.2 apparently passes the tests fine now. I'll close this bug and re-open or create a new one if I see it again. Thanks.
