Description Ross Humphreys 2009-10-08 10:58:22 UTC
When start gnuCash get error "The program can't start because libgncmod-engine.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."
I tried to re-install latest beta version 2.3.7 and also tried with previous stable version 2.2.9 as well.

I am running Windows 7 RC1.
Comment 1 Christian Stimming 2009-10-08 14:49:55 UTC
This might be caused either by the mix-up of an old and new version of gnucash on the same machine.

On the other hand, we haven't received further test feedback from Windows 7 as well, so we can't tell whether the program actually works there. It might be very well the case that it doesn't work on Windows 7 in the current form.

I have received reports that gnucash-2.3.7 starts on Windows 7 without problems.

Hence, this is probably a mix-up of the old and new version of gnucash.

If you remove all versions and then re-install 2.3.7, does it still happen?
