IMHO, the output of a port scan should be more verbose.

For example after initiating a scan you don't know how far it has progressed.

Some way of knowing what port it is currently scanning, or how many ports are left to scan would be nice.

nettool now is a very basic layer on top of nmap for port scanning.
It will depend on nmap defaults to try to figure out how many ports
are left (out of the scope for nettool).
