Description Andreas Nilsson 2009-10-04 00:22:29 UTC
For a rainy day and a bored developer.
It would be neat if gdict could show Word of the Day from Wiktionary [1]. There is a rss-feed [2] that can be used, but it surely possible to implement in other ways too.
The search field should probably not be filled in, and there could be a short snippet saying "Word of the Day from Wiktionary" (or something like that).

Today's word is "curfew".

this is really not a "rainy day" task: it would require a full rewrite of the Dictionary. Thanks for the bug report.

I think this should get subsumed in the "turn the Dictionary into a Wiktionary client" bug.
