Downloaded and installed the released version of GnuCash2.3.6 for Windows. Tried installing it on two different XP machines (one Pro and one Home). It failed to load on either. No message in the Pro install, it just started to load, came up with the tips then exited with no indication as to why. On the Home version it displayed a notice that the MSVCR71.dll file could not be found, and that reinstalling the program might fix the problem. Since it happened on two machines I didn't bother reinstalling.
