Description klji 2009-10-01 04:07:05 UTC
Banshee has a one or two second delay built into every song transition, with no option I can see to disable it. Many albums are built around smooth transitioning, so this gap interferes with the intended playback of many albums. A gap should not exist by default, let alone be required. Banshee should have a gapless default behavior and/or possibly an option to adjust whether a gap exist between songs.

A bug report requesting gapless playback in Banshee already exists, and you'll be happy to know that it has been receiving quite a bit of work recently. If you feel especially brave, you can help test the patch.
