Description Bruce-Robert Pocock 2001-08-28 18:38:12 UTC
Both MS Windows and MacOS feature a "Recent Documents" menu of some kind.

Suggestion: Integrate a statistical history into the file selector
widgets. Allow other apps (e.g. Nautilus, the Panel) to query this history.

Some examples of useful features:

Most Recently Opened
Most Recently Saved
Folders Most Frequently Opened From
Folders Most Frequently Saved To

These might also somehow be integrated into the "sidebar,"
near "Documents, Desktop, Home..."

This should also be integrated into Nautilus. A related bug will be opened
there.
