Description avsmith 2009-09-28 22:56:00 UTC
After upgrading to pango 1.26.0 on mac os x 10.5.8, applications using pango slow to a crawl and the computer uses high CPU.

Unfortunately, I can't give any more specific details than that, though I can say that the issues went away by downgrading to pango 1.24.5.

Any suggestions on how to debug are appreciated. Nothing crashes, so not clear how to debug.

Please continue discussion on bug 593240. You can attach a debugger, ctrl+c when using 100% cpu and get a backtrace to begin with.
