Support LinuxMint in the gnome-shell build script

Just worked with a frustrated LinuxMint user.  The distro is Ubuntu based so
this fixed up the problem.

Only comment I might make is that it would be good to have a body to the commit message with the justification you provided in hte bug report ("The distro is Ubuntu based" and maybe the bug link)
