GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 595727
dialog windows should be centered on a per window basis
Last modified: 2020-11-06 20:09:43 UTC
I have a external monitor (VGA) attached with my laptop (LVDS) and when an application (say Evolution) creates a new screen (right-clicking an selecting the Properties option) that is shown on the middle of both screens (I have one screen next to the other). It's quite annoying since you have to drag the window to one of the screens to see it clearly. As I was filling this bug I found out that not all dialogs behave the same way, so I don't know if this bug should be filled as metacity bug or as a Evolution bug ... Feel free to move it to Evolution if it's the case.
