GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 595097
Gnome commander fails compiling with poppler version 0.12 on a Gentoo AMD x86_64 system
Last modified: 2009-09-22 07:48:14 UTC
Gnome commander fails compiling with the following error: gnome-cmd-tags-poppler.cc:323: error: ‘class PDFDoc’ has no member named ‘getPDFVersion’. I found a similar bug on bugs.gentoo.org http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=282833, which states that broken applications "need to get converted to using getPDFMajorVersion and getPDFMinorVersion" I have installed popper version 0.12 emerge poppler -pv These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating dependencies... done! [ebuild R ] dev-libs/poppler-0.12.0 USE="abiword lcms poppler-data" 0 kB gcc version : 4.4.1
This problem has been fixed in our software repository (http://git.gnome.org/cgit/gnome-commander/commit/?id=eada5b0f65cf133cc07bc73038fce22f9468d52e). The fix will go into the next software release. Thank you for your bug report.
